The Well

The Church Development Committee (CDC) invites you to come to The Well.  The Well is a learning community of congregations that are working on implementing church transformation based on the results of the Congregational Assessment Tool (or CAT). More information on the CAT and The Well can be found at

This second retreat of 2017 will focus on how to discover who is outside the walls of your church through a Community Exegesis.  The retreat is open to all congregations that have attended The Well previously.

You’re invited to send your pastor(s) as well as 2 – 3 Elder/Leaders.

This event will be held at the Springfield Holiday Inn: 6401 Brandon Ave., Springfield VA 22150

We will begin at 7 p.m on November 2nd, and continue through noon on November 4th.  Housing, breakfast and lunch are included.

The Well - Spring 2017 event

The Spring gathering of The Well is once again at the wonderful St. Michael's Inn in St. Michaels, MD.  We'll once again have leadership from Holy Cow! with us, and will further explore how to take the results from our Vital Signs and apply them to transformation work in our congregations.

The Well

Churches already involved in the WELL are invited to this Workshop at St. Mark's, where we will look at the demographic information from MissionInsites in conjunction with our CATscans and the results of our Community Exegeses!

We'll meet at Saint Mark in Bethesda, and lunch will be provided.

CAT Intepreter Training

Training for individuals who wish to become Interpreters of the Congregational Assessment Tool.  We will meet at the Presbytery office from 9 - 4 p.m. on both days.
